BMW X7 M60i Review: Luxury Meets Performance
Exploring the BMW X7 M60i from an everyday driver's perspective.
In this episode of One Minute Motors, we take a closer look at the BMW X7 M60i, a luxury SUV that combines family-friendly practicality with genuine performance credentials.
Sitting near the top of the X7 range, the M60i adds a more aggressive edge to BMW's largest SUV. From the massive kidney grille and sporty body kit to the optional 22-inch alloy wheels and enormous brake discs, it makes a strong impression before you've even stepped inside.
Inside, buyers can choose between six- and seven-seat layouts, with generous space throughout all three rows. The cabin is packed with premium materials, comfort features and the sort of luxury you'd expect from BMW's flagship SUV.
Under the bonnet sits a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 530hp. Despite weighing around 2.6 tonnes, the X7 M60i can accelerate from 0-60mph in just 4.7 seconds, delivering performance that feels almost absurd in a vehicle of this size.
Practicality remains a major strength. The rear seats fold electronically to create a huge load area, while self-parking technology, reversing assistance and a comprehensive camera system help make manoeuvring such a large SUV surprisingly straightforward.
With prices starting at around £118,000 for the M60i, the X7 competes with some of the most prestigious SUVs on the market, including the Range Rover, Mercedes GLS and Audi Q7. It offers a unique blend of luxury, practicality and performance that's difficult to match.
At Leasing Options, our One Minute Motors series focuses on what drivers actually notice when living with a vehicle day to day, helping cut through the specification sheets and focus on the real-world experience.
