Heated and cooled cupholders might sound completely unnecessary, but they're exactly the kind of over-the-top luxury feature that makes the X7 feel special. Add in heated armrests and it's hard not to smile at just how indulgent it all feels. Of course, the headline act is the 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8. The soundtrack is every bit as good as you'd hope, delivering a deep, muscular soundtrack that perfectly matches the X7's performance credentials. It's a reminder that despite its size, this is still very much an M Performance model. Topping our list is the overall fun factor. The X7 M60i somehow manages to combine luxury, technology, practicality and serious performance into a single package. It's huge, incredibly capable and surprisingly entertaining to drive, making it one of the most memorable SUVs we've spent time with.
